Step 1 Make a reservation
Reservations can be made by phone, e–mail, or fax. You’ll need to indicate your program choice, submit some logistical information, and pick a theme for your lesson.
Step 2 Receive your confirmation letter
Once you make a reservation, we’ll send you a confirmation letter that details your program schedule, payment, and other information.
Step 3 Speak with your MoMA educator
Your MoMA educator will call you to talk about your lesson. We’ll ask you to share information about your curriculum and students to help us plan a lesson that is relevant for your class.
Step 4 Check–in at MoMA
We’ll meet you in the Education and Research Building lobby on the day of your visit and check your class’ belongings. We'll provide all of the necessary supplies during the lesson.
Step 5 Your lesson experience
We'll guide your students in an interactive, theme-based lesson that focuses on three to four artworks and may include discussion, activities, and small group work.
Step 6 After the lesson
We hope your lesson experience encourages you to return to MoMA free of charge. You and your students will receive complimentary passes to MoMA, and on any weekday except Tuesday, you can spend extra time in the galleries after your lesson.
